DGK or “dirty kids from the ghetto”: what kind of skate brand?

Stevie Williams is the name from which the DGK brand originates. Stevie co-owns this skate brand with Troy Morgan. On the world stage, the brand’s products are distributed under the distribution of The Kayo Corp.

The history of the creation and development of the brand

All good things are created suddenly. That’s what happened with DGK. In one of his interviews, Stevie shared that, being a co-owner of Gold wheels, he decided to create some other commercial offshoot. The name was born on its own and stuck to the brand for a long time. After that, Stevie began to bring in his team of professional skaters with whom he once rode or with whom he maintained good friendly relations: Josh Kalis (Josh Kalis), Rodrigo TX (Rodrigo Tixieri) and others.

At the moment, the brand is not widely used in Russia. You won’t be able to find it on the shelves of major skate shops, and you can hardly get it in huge online clothing hypermarkets. But due to its slight “inaccessibility” in the skate crowd, this brand is in good demand.

What is DGK today?

At the moment, on the official website of the company https://dgkallday.com you can find the following products:

  • skate kits;
  • boards;
  • wheels;
  • bearings;
  • accessories (screws, stickers, rings and so on);
  • t-shirts;
  • jackets;
  • caps;
  • pants;
  • sweatshirts;
  • hats;
  • bags.

Products

This brand constantly makes various collaborations. For example, when the G-SHOCK G8900DGK DGK X watch was released – a collaboration with the eminent watch brand Casio (then even another model under the brand’s label came out – G-Shock GX-56DGK-1).

Such market giants as Adidas willingly make collabs with the company. Either Stevie is a good negotiator or the reputation of the brand allows even the giants of the industry to jump into this car.

The brand even managed to stir up a collaboration with the manufacturer of “steam rooms” – Grenco Science.

The limited batch of boards with the rapper Rick Ross was instantly sold out by the fans of the brand.

Also, every season the brand pleases its followers with some interesting collections of promodel boards. The brand’s graphics are always very relevant, moderately provocative, and also very original.

Filmography

DGK does not often please its fans with new videos, but the brand has several worthy full-length films that literally blew up the skateboard industry:
